Councilman Dennis P. Zine presented Safe Passage Home founder Trish Steele with a Certificate of Appreciation from the City of Los Angeles during a charity fundraiser held on June 20 at Barry’s Bootcamp in Sherman Oaks.
Actress Natalie Raitano, best known from her syndicated series VIP, and currently starring in the web series Pink, showed off some off-screen skills by teaching two Bootcamp classes for attendees of the event. Entertaining the crowd was Dilana from the Rock Star who sang a three song set. Also performing, with inner city kids as her back-up dancers, was DJ Cuba Swift.
Safe Passage Home offers support and assistance for women recovering from domestic violence in effort to help these victims regain their sense of self and rediscovery their place in society.

I am wondering if you would like to have “Development of Selfhood”
taught at your facility. I have a doctorate in education and many years of teaching here and in Africa and would like to find a paid position in the healing field. I use the Doll Process (doll making and storytelling) to build authentic selfhood and i am an innovative and passionate teacher.
I just finished volunteering a year of service at The Braille Institute in Santa Barbara and would like to return to LA and add my energies to where there is need to heal.
I suggest you look at my website to learn more of my uniqueness.
(www.myselfhood.com) I believe that I could help empower your women and construct selfhood through the arts with the children too.
Please request my resume and references if you are interested.
Thank you,
Catherine Amandla Clark
